Join us for a truly unique Gaia Weekender – a murder mystery in the Scottish Highlands.
The story is set in a large country house tucked away in one of the most beautiful locations in Scotland. But things quickly take a turn for the worst. The tale begins when one of the guests doesn’t return from a walk in the mountains, and it is not long before other bizarre events start to occur. A group of strangers, who are guests of the owner, take it upon themselves to solve the mystery. With each hour that passes the plot thickens, and they must decide which one of the mysterious characters at the house could be the killer.
We’re excited to be bringing you our virtual Edinburgh Weekender and our own unique celebration of St Dwynwen’s Day in Cardiff.
The Welsh have their own patron saint of lovers. Forget Valentine’s Day, 25 January is the most romantic day of the year in Wales. They give romantic gifts to loved ones to remember St Dwynwen a love struck lass who became a nun after being forbidden by her father from marrying the person she loved. Ahh.
In typical Gaia style we will tailor a special evening of food, fun and entertainment, sharing the love around.
After a strange ‘lockdown’ year for us all, we are so happy to offer our unique Covid safe events once more.
July sees the inaugural ‘Women on Waves’ at Cowes, Isle of Wight. Home to international yacht racing, we will spend a fun day on the water. You can experience pulling on ropes or helming the yacht. Maybe soak up the sun, just relax and watch all of the excitement from the comfort of the deck. We will drop anchor in one of the many bays around the Solent for a spot of lunch and a swim.
Our Walking Wightender will take place in October. The Isle of Wight is one of the UK’s most beautiful places to enjoy the great outdoors. A true walker’s paradise. Gaia are offering a relaxed guided walking holiday for women who love walking in the company of other like-minded people.
The popular Gaia Women’s Burns Supper returns in January 2022. We started the event on the east coast of Scotland, in Kirkcaldy, back in 2014 before heading west to Glasgow. For a fresh restart, Edinburgh will play host to our next event.
Details are being finalised, so be sure to keep an eye out for further details.
When the pandemic hit, we couldn’t just let our events fade away. So we have turned adversity into opportunity and created our Gaia Event Boxes. They are designed to provide a fun and engaging experience direct to your door.
From Murder Mystery to a Her and Hers Spa Night, Valentine’s Day to an inventive date night, we aim to create an experience unique to you.
The event box comes with a variety of products, immersive games and activities, music playlists, digital experiences, and much more in the theme of the event.
As with all organisations, the COVID-19 pandemic is having a significant impact on our Gaia Events. Unfortunately, given the current situation and guidelines, we have suspended our in person programme activity until later this year.
We’ve taken this decision to prioritise the wellbeing of our participants, delivery partners & workforce. We will be reviewing this situation weekly. We shall now focus on maintaining online engagement with our participants and ensuring we can resume activity when circumstances allow.
AJ and Team Gaia x
A quick hello to our valued customers.
As a family owned business, people are at the heart of everything we do, so your safety and health is, and continues to be, our top priority.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the situation within the travel and event industry is changing daily.
All of our events for 2021 are going ahead as planned, with more being added. We deliberately keep the group size of our holidays small and will continue to do so.
Until we can see you all again in person, please take care of yourselves and each other.
